Founder’s Message on Vocademy’s 3rd Anniversary

Dear friends, On October 6th, we will be crossing a milestone at Vocademy; I’m proud to say that it will be our three year anniversary.  My goal has always been to bring hands-on skills learning to everyone, but I had no idea how challenging it would be to create something so new and unique.  When we started, nobody really knew about makerspaces, much less one with an educational focus.  But we knew the value of making makers and the good that would come from people learning hands-on skills.
